LRC is primarily a walk-in, drop-in tutoring center and no appointment is necessary to visit with an available tutor. Students are seen on a first-come basis, and tutors may work with up to three different individual students at a time, rotating between tutees in 20-minute intervals if the Center is busy.
Tutors also hold exam review sessions & nursing workshops to accommodate larger groups.

Summer 2026 Tutor Schedules
Our tutors working this summer are available for support for the following courses that are scheduled to run: BIOL 211, CHEM 110, MATH 201, PSY 300, PSY 301, PSY 314, PSY 318.
The tutors working this summer (Jasmine, Dylan, Katrina, and Connor) have a large amount of proficiency in tutoring other courses in Chemistry, Pre Nursing, Psychology, Math, Comp Sci, Data Science, and some Physics. Both Jasmine and Dylan can help with SPSS and R.

We have a Google Doc that displays all of our tutors, what courses they support, and their weekly schedules. Please note that tutor availability is subject to change throughout the weeks of the semester, given that they are students just like you and may have to shift around to accommodate courseload & other personal needs. Please read the first page on this document before attempting to look for a tutor in order to understand our operating hours, modalities of tutoring center on each day, and more.

Limited Appointments
Students may request up to two 30-minute tutoring appointments per course each week. If preferred, students may request one 60-minute appointment instead of two 30-minute appointments. Same day appointments and next day appointments are typically not available. Students are also welcome to use drop-in tutoring services at any time, with no limits on the number of drop-in visits.
To request an individual or group appointment, visit the LRC front desk, email us, call the LRC, or join our Zoom room to speak with a Student Assistant.
When available, students may also submit an appointment request through our online survey system. All requests are reviewed by a Student Assistant to ensure an appropriate tutor match and confirm tutor availability. In some cases, a Student Assistant may contact you for additional information before an appointment can be scheduled. Please allow at least two full business days for appointment requests submitted through the survey system to be processed.
