Drop-in Advising

Drop-In Academic Advising

We’re here to help.

Drop-in advising gives 91³Ô¹Ï undergraduate students an opportunity to meet with an academic advisor without scheduling an appointment in advance. Students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis, and each consultation is approximately 15-20 minutes.

Is Drop-In Advising Right for Me?

Drop-in advising works best for quick questions, such as:

  • Clarifying a course or general education requirement
  • Reviewing a registration question
  • Identifying an academic policy or campus resource
  • Getting help with a time-sensitive concern

For graduation planning, changing or adding a major, academic difficulty, or questions requiring a detailed review of your academic record, please schedule a full advising appointment.

What to Expect

To make the most of your conversation:

  • Have your nine-digit Dolphin ID number available.
  • Bring your questions and any relevant documents.

  • Selecting fall courses
