Drop-In Academic Advising
We鈥檙e here to help.
Drop-in advising gives 91吃瓜 undergraduate students an opportunity to meet with an academic advisor without scheduling an appointment in advance. Students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis, and each consultation is approximately 15-20 minutes.
Is Drop-In Advising Right for Me?
Drop-in advising works best for quick questions, such as:
- Clarifying a course or general education requirement
- Reviewing a registration question
- Identifying an academic policy or campus resource
- Getting help with a time-sensitive concern
For graduation planning, changing or adding a major, academic difficulty, or questions requiring a detailed review of your academic record, please schedule a full advising appointment.
What to Expect
To make the most of your conversation:
- Have your nine-digit Dolphin ID number available.
- Bring your questions and any relevant documents.
- Use the Student Advising Notes Sheet to record helpful information and next steps.

Academic advisors are offering additional drop-in support to help students prepare for the fall semester. Stop by if you need assistance:

- Understanding remaining degree requirements
- Reviewing course prerequisites
- Addressing a registration question or concern
No appointment is needed. Students will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis.
